Welcome to Forest Hills Veterinary

Forest Hills Veterinary is a locally-owned and operated veterinary clinic based in Sidman, PA. Since 2012, our veterinarians and staff have served animals and pet owners from across the area. From our beginning, it has been our goal to provide each patient with caring, compassionate services and treatments. We focus on providing excellent care at an affordable cost.

Our clinic was built from the ground up and provides preventative, medical, and emergency care to both large and small animals. It is our priority to not only help your animals achieve and maintain good health, but to help educate and inform the pet owners we serve. We have worked hard to create a relaxed, welcoming environment for animals and their owners. We have large animal facilities on-site.

Professional Veterinary Care in Sidman, PA

Dr. Brady Hamady was born and raised in Sidman and returned to his hometown to fulfill his dream and provide much needed veterinary services to the community. Thanks to our hard work and dedication, we have been voted “Simply the Best Veterinarian” for four years and counting by Johnstown Magazine. Our facility is new, modern, and clean to ensure your pets and animals receive the care they need and deserve.

Dental Care

We provide a variety of routine dental services for large and small animals including polishing, cleaning, and examination services. It is our goal to educate you on how to best care for your animal’s oral health. We will help you find the dental hygiene products which fit your pet’s needs.

Spay/Neuter

We offer both spay and neutering services. This is an outpatient procedure, which means you can bring your pet home on the same day. Not only does this procedure reduce territorial behaviors and prevent unwanted pregnancies, but it can also reduce your pet’s risk for certain types of infections or cancers.

Radiographs

Radiographs or x-rays are an important tool for diagnosing and evaluating problems your pet may be having. X-rays allow us to examine any abnormalities including fractures, tumors/masses, kidney or bladder stones, and more.

Laser Therapy

This type of treatment is non-invasive and does not require your pet to take medications or anesthesia. It is used to reduce pain, inflammation, and speed healing. Laser therapy uses a beam of laser light to deeply penetrate tissue without damaging it. This procedure can be used to treat a variety of conditions including arthritis, post-surgical pain, wounds, and some skin conditions.

Tumor Removal

If your pet or animal has a tumor that needs to be removed, we will work to safely and carefully remove the mass. During all surgical procedures, it is our goal to make sure your pet is comfortable before, during, and after their procedure. Our team focuses on providing every animal with the care, attention, and treatments they deserve.

In-House Bloodwork

To help us better diagnose any ailments affecting our patients, we have a full on-site laboratory. This features state-of-the-art equipment and technology to ensure we receive fast, accurate results. Blood tests can be used to identify infectious agents, toxins, and various diseases.
